Omaha, Nebraska to Host Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie in October

Nebraska Department of Insurance Director Eric Dunning announced that the Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie conference is back in-person and will be held on October 24 and 25. Omaha’s Holland Performing Arts Center will be the event venue. The night before Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie will host a networking event at the nationally ranked Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.

The event will be back in-person with topics ranging from Big Data to Startups to Innovation. Industry and regulatory experts from across the nation will come to Nebraska for a day of collaboration and discussion of all things Insurtech.

With a tentative schedule packed full of panels, expert speakers, and regulators from across the nation, Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie 2022 will focus on topics including Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Insurance, Commissioners Panel, Gamification, Insurtech & Innovation Regulatory Modernization, Insurtech Investing, Accelerators & Venture Capital, Insurance Company Innovation, Innovations in Microinsurance, Startups, CEO Spotlight and more.

Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie is an annual event co-hosted by the Nebraska Department of Insurance and the Nebraska Insurance Federation to foster a better understanding of the rapidly changing world of insurtech. As one of the leading insurance hubs in the United States, Nebraska’s 120 domestic insurers rank first nationally in surplus. These insurers represent more than $949 billion in total assets.
